My iPod Nano clone is stuck in hourglass mode
Recently, I was trying out the language settings to see if my player can correctly show the song titles correctly for my foreign songs. Then I decided to be stupid and play around with the language settings. After setting it to Jewish, which I completely don't understand, I accidentally pressed the wrong button and got it stuck on the hourglass mode. I've tried turning it off, draining its batteries, and pushing what seems to be a reset button but nothing seems to work. It's not responding.
I've had this player for more or less 3 years now, and this is the first time I've had a problem with it. It's an iPod Nano fake with 4GB disk space. Now I don't think it's hacked or anything since I've been able to use the entire space with no problems. My mom bought it in Singapore and it seems to be made by a company named J2. It also says here that its model number is J2-208.
More info once I find the screwdriver and open this thing. But in the meantime, can someone here can identify it based on what I've said?
Oh yeah, and this thing was slower than snails on molasses back when it worked. Can something be done to speed it up?
EDIT: I kinda forgot. The player can still be accessed as a removable disk drive.
