tried to open mine, but i'm having difficulty because of the screws set up. Have no idea how to properly open this one up with damaging it badly, from what I can see. Upon lifting thecase, the back and harddrive area sticks to it, and I can't fully remove the cover without snapping the plastic, unlike some Mp3 players, there aren't all plastic hooks olding it down, just partialy, seems to be stick by two fixed internal platyic gholders that are cylender in shape.
This isn't something modified by hand at all from what I can tell, so it's an exclusively software based hack unlike those few that require a harddrive alteration or piece blockign the connection. Also explains why the firmware is so much more unstable then the last hacked Mp3 player I ran into.
