Default Upgrading JWD PMP-7100 (Rockship 2729)

Hi everybody!

I have recently bought a very good and very cheap ebook player: JWD PMP-7100 after a very good review of that in this site (JWD PMP-7100 : Une liseuse avec écran c-paper. | blogeee.net in french...). A lot of french people have bought that after this news!

This product have several version firmware based on the Rockship RK2729: 1.0.1, 1.0.4 and 1.0.5. The first one and the last one work pretty well but the 1.0.4 is buggy! And mine is 1.0.4 :-(

With some people of blogeee who had the same problem, we are looking for a way to upgrade it to the 1.0.5 firmware. We have readen a lot of thread of your site and tried this :Firmware Extraction for new Rockchip RK27xx series players.
It worked pretty well and 2 hidden partitions are showing, but when we change the files (put some 1.0.5 files instead) to upgrade, nothing happens and the firmware stay at 1.0.4.

We have readen that it may come from the new rockship processors which doesn't allow any modification :-((((

So has anyone a solution? It's so horrible to use such a great device like that with such a horible firmware!

Thank you!
