Default WellŪ 1GB mp4 player unknown device(error code 43)

Hi everybody!

A friend of mine gave me this player to fix. It's supposed to install automatically as a new storage device when I plug it in via USB. But that doesn't happen. Instead, I get an error stating
Quote:
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
. I have windwos 7 32 bit and he has Windows XP.
The player works fine, I can browse and use all it's functions.
When I plug it in the player goes into connected mode and the battery starts charging, in that mode it says that the current firmware version is 002.620.000.
The player looks something like this: Click the image to open in full size.
I can't search the forum for this because WellŪ happens to be a common word. Do you have any leads?
Thanks!
