Yes skytex supports portuguese and another 18 other lauguage on the device. And when you download the software, you will have all the tools within the package to upload the firmware to your device. I don't know what the battery life is like on yours, but i'm getting around 4 hours of reading time before i have to charge it up again. How about yours?
