Default Well i cant decide on a format ...

Lol Windows 3.1 wow thats old skool.
As far as linux distros are concerned my favorite is Ubuntu (easy installer and you can try it before installing via Live CD)
Give it a whirl..well worth it. Support for those readers is also excellent there.
I have picked 10 books that i want to `trial` convert. They are in PDF right now but this format is so ugly, slow and as you said a tad difficult to read on the device.
Calibre seems to have a quite intelligent way of reformatting the books but setting this up takes a bit.
My C++ Bible for instance is 158mb as a PDF and by the time it load the battery is dead lol.
Once done it can be shared with the Calibre community tho. (Gotta love open source solutions)
At the moment i am also toying with the idea of getting one of those tablet PCs. IPad is too expensive and again its totally proprietary so thats a no no.
10 Inch tablet are actually fairly cheap atm, about 150 USD which isnt all that bad considering what else you can do with it.
Would be like a ebook reader + WiFi + Internet etc etc. Wifi would make my live already alot easier but a pure ereader WiFi is too expansive.
Well we will see hehe

Regards
Nicolas
