Hey Russ, what version of firmware does your white chipod use? Please could you upload it to mympxplayer?

Positive feedback!
mp4plus sold me a 2GB 1.8 inch MP4 (AMV) player which is actually 2GB (verfied by RDiskUtility partition tab and allows 2GB files to be stored without corruption)
for a bargain price (<£18 inc).
Currently he has 100% feedback but he hasn't been trading long. Interesting to see if his 4GB MTVs are also genuine (although AMV is superior). How long before genuine MP4 format players are cheap?

Re: The Blacklist one_stop_store has changed to themp4world

Here's one for the blacklist!

One_stop_store has changed his name to themp4world

This trader on E Bay is selling lots of player, he claims they are 8Gb which in fact they are not, and also claims that the said item is in London UK, player came from Hong-Kong. After formatting the player with AMV convert tool 3.68 the true size of the memory shows which is like most of the others here turns out to be 2GB.

I have been informed by the seller that it was sent by mistake due to the high demand, and was sent direct from the factory, because they had ran out of stock in his London department.

I have asked the seller for the item which I clearly paid for, all he wants me to do is return it back to Hong-Kong. which I will not do as I purchased it as an item in the UK, and do not see why I should have to send it back to him in Hong-Kong.

He states that he has a London department and that is who I will deal with! not someone who is six and half thousand miles away.

Re: The Blacklist

I just wanted to also chime in and let everyone know that some manufacturers are selling these hacked versions directly. I purchased 25 of these units that were advertised as 2GB. When I actually received them I found out that they were 512MB hacked versions.

The manufacturer is Shenzhen Sky Electronic and I sent them an e-mail complaining. My sales rep told me that he will get with his engineers. I immediately received an e-mail back from my sales rep who told me that everyone in America is buying these "upgraded" versions and that he can sell me real 2GB versions for $10 more. I told him to take a hike and went with a new vendor. We took one apart to verify that it is a real 2GB from the new vendor and it sure was so I bought 100 more.

I cannot find "Shenzhen Sky Electronic" on Ebay but I am sure that they are there somewhere and need to be blacklisted. If you can find them I would love to see what they are selling and how they are wording their ads.

Thanks!!!
