So what we can see?

1. Somebody still reads those postal mails, which is good :)

2. The eBay support team definitely cannot do their job. Could you please go to eBay site, click on "advanced search", enter the item number "200045606198" in the approriate field, check the "Completed listings only" checkbox, and find the item? I can find it. Why the support team cannot do it? Don't they know about "completed listings only" checkbox?

3. The rest of email is just full of sh1t. The only suggestions they had were that I made a mistake, or provided a wrong item number. Probably it is just generic eBay attitude to buyers, who knows?

Yes, the volume has increaded during Thanksgiving - Christmas period. But it was the same for EVERY company in USA, EVERY year. As far as I know, eBay top management are highly rated professionals, graduated from the best universities around the world, and they have a lot of experience in the field. And you are telling me that this increase in sales volume (and complains, as a result) preceding Thanksgiving - Christmas period caught you
unprepared? Sorry, I cannot buy it.

Anyway if it tooks you a month to even start an investigation, this means that at this moment eBay is completely unable to protect the buyers from fraud. Therefore we need the government to be involved at legislature level. We need a law to make auction holders like eBay liable for fraudulent sellers, and we need auction sellers to be licensed to lower the fraud level. Therefore I will send my petition to my elected representatives tomorrow, and will spread the word about it in the Internet. If anyone who had to deal with fraud on eBay sends a petition to their congressman/senator, we will have such a law to protect us.

Usually I hate government involvement into business relationship (because usually it hurts more than protects), but probably this is the case when we really need it.

Got a PM from blown-z on this forum. He claimed that he did not know anything about the memory problems with their players. Then he claimed that the supplier sold them as "4 gigabits", and 4Gb means gigabits :)

2Gb player.... yup 512MB (actually 476MB...) PINK -- for my girlfriend. Fudge!

Let me in on this class action thingamajig you've got going on. This guy told me to go google gigabit, 2048/8=256MB, not 512MB. What a douche.

I would say he is getting desperate to keep the complainers of his back, but admits the players are hacked. He makes a statement now that they are hacked indeed, (why show 32 gigabits if they only hold 4 gigabits) but by this statement in the ad, his ass is covered.

Blown-z, ever wondered why these are programmed to show as 32 gigabits???? You can say you weren't aware of the problem, but it is obviously that you lie, since you advertised with GB for long, and now use Gb, and come up with this ridiculous 32 Gb explanation. You only made all your feedback private, to keep others from seeing the main complaint: hacked memory, and to hide the advertisements, which all showed 4 GB, right?

I see a new disclaimer. Why cant these dirty sellers just put the proper size in their title description(s). They are counting on some people not reading everything and then using that as a safety net. That disclaimer is still full of BS. I wrote to Meg Whitman.. lets see how they handle it.

this is the reply i got when sending to the CEO not even meg it was Customer Support the retards that solve everything with the fraud and saftey team link ok this is BS they dodge the question and continue to repeat the same crap request his info and call the seller hmmm i have called him 50 times it just rings then voice mail i also rote them that to god i hate ebay

Changed my paypal dispute to a claim Sun night. Mon morning, I had several emails from paypal. I had two cases, one for each player. Both cases had been decided in my favor..Yea Paypal!. I got two partial refunds from blown-z. Like to have seen his face when paypal took these out of his account. Also had an email from blown-z. I had sent him one asking him if he had forgotten about me, and telling him that I hadn't forgotten about him :) His reply: "how can we help you"? duh! he must have less memory than his players. Anyway, now I've got two nice players for about $20 each plus shipping,,,I can enjoy them better now......Still going to keep after ebay about my complaint on him. Got to stop people like this!

Ugh. So now blown-z's gotten smart and put a disclaimer in his auctions. Things like this sicken me. Now there's even less hope because people who buy from him most likely will have no clue what he means by the disclaimer, buy the product anyway, and basically be screwed after that. All blown-z has to do is point out the disclaimer if the buyer complains and he gets to keep all his ill-gotten money. I can't stand it that they get away with this and eBay does absolutely NOTHING! I'm seriously thinking about boycotting eBay for awhile; that's how annoyed I am with them.

:evil: I too have made purchases from the ass hole known as blown_Z. I won 4 auctions on e-bay. The first two on the 10thof dec. I finally got them on the 18th and they were junk. Yhe first one had two cracks in the LCD screen. The other had 2 screws laying in the bottom of the box that had apparently fallen out of the unit. Where the screws went was stripped out with the plastic on the screws. He sucks at communication, no phone number listing in blaine, MN for him. First offer he gave me was to send me new screws and a new lcd screen. i refused and wanted new products. To me, they looked like manufacturer rejects. The second offer was to refund my money but he would not specify weather or not he would include the almost 26 dollars i had in shipping. SAD facts, i was dumb enough to buy two more before i got the first two. I decided to send the other two back and for him to make sure they were new like the listing said and to look at them carefully before he shipped them out. I want on the band wagon for the lawsuit. he is buying rejects and sendin them out. Dont know about the gbs yet bought 2-2gb, 1-4gb and 1-1gb. I am sick to my stomach over this. Someone will have to tell me how to check what i have if i ever get them. Will never buy from him again and going to report to e-bay and pay-pal...he will get bad feedback as well. I noticed if you leave him bad feedback he does the same in defense.. I say we get the bastard. Any ideas.. let me know exactly what you need from me for the lawsuit....Thanks Happy Holidays without jams for the cruise...
