Hacked 2GB--> 256MB

I'm not going to give details just yet. I bought a 2GB player from a supplier located in the U.S and it turns out that the real memory size of the player is 256MB. For the price, i paid, it was about $40. What do you guys think, the price was too good to be true? I will be calling the guy tomorrow and see if he is willing to refund me money, but i doubt it because i paid through Western Union. I will keep you guys posted.

His info and whereabouts will be posted once i find out more information.

Keep us posted on the progress and let us know of the seller when you can.

It would be good to let others know so they don't fall into the same trap.

DUDE!i feel your pain man!i bough a nano clone and it said it was 8 gb! 8gb for only $90!!ywah it was too good to be true!damn chinese fake Sh%^!well it turned out that the true memory is only 474 mb oh man i couldve bough a 1 gb ipod shuffle with that!i guess we both learned our lesson.dang it,the bad part is that my brother also bought another one and we've called and e-mailed the company but we still have no answers back!psh and i though apple was too expencive for 8 bg ipod nano,but i bet its worth it.

Where did you purchase your 8GB player from? Well, dont blame it on the chinese, blame it on the seller. This seller knew it was fake and i bought a shipment from him. I will see if i can get more information about the guy and let you guys know. Currently he is not picking up any of my phone calls.
