Conned by Platinum-team/Midlap
 

I have been conned by Midlap, who is now trading on ebay as platinum-team. I know this because I have asked for a refund from them, there reply was was from Platinum-team instead of superteam.

I get the impression they build up a whole network of user names and email addresses to sale these hacked players. Doing this they just shut down one account and start another.

I have raised a claim with Paypal over the 2 players that I bought and am asking for a full refund.

The players I bought were supposed to be 4GB but turned out to be 2GB. I have done all the procedures to reset the players to their proper memory and they are now working fine. I will accept a 50% refund from seller and keep the players because the players are now working fine without the hack. If I get the 50% refund the players would have cost me £28 this seems ok for 2 x 2GB players that work perfect at the moment.

May I add that I seem to have become a bit of a vigilanti on ebay telling everybody about the scams through messages. But ebay has now blocked me sending messages to ebay members that i'm not connected with.

I would just like to with everybody who is trying to get a refund the best of luck, and keep up the good work exposing these fraudsters.

Good on you for trying to tell everyone else on eBay as well. Hopefully we can get the message through to more people about these fraudsters.
