Basicly i bought 4 mp4 players from this Animal.
Paid via paypal on 31/12/06 read some of his feedback and then realised how stupid i had been!
So i instantly demanded a refund!
Filed a claim with paypal etc.
and decided to give him hell!
So
yesterday 4/1/07 i recieved a full refund!
Due to the amount of grief i had given him im not surprised he folded.
:-)
Also he has sent the 4 MP4 players as a "gesture of goodwill"
Obviously it was followed by please withdraw the Neg feedback!
Ha.
He's such a Fool!


Well when your Email and paypal accounts get flooded with 150 invoices and Emails every day i would guess he realised i wouldnt give up!.

I also used a few sneaky tricks with other Ebay accounts on his other accounts! Check his feedback on ebritian and you will see.

So if anyone wants the templates of the letters ive sent him, let me know and i will see if i can help get your money back.
By the sounds of it not many people are having much luck with him!
Please if you have been ripped off Email me and i will see what i can do.
It took me 4 days to get a full refund and 4 Free crap players so i think i may have a good chance of getting some of your money refunded!

well i bought 4 of the 4gig ones from e-britain and 2 of them wont even start now i want my money back what can i do i got pissed and broke the ones that are bad already couse they didnt want to start

The crook works like this.

You buy one of the crap 4Gb (in his dreams) 1Gb (in reality) MP4 players from you. It dies. You get the bog standard "I tried to email you but it {insert excuse}".

You put a complaint in via PayPal. He offers you something crap like 6UKP or 5 Euros and claims that he makes no money from the deal, loses lots and please accept it.

Some will think "ahhh, poor likkle man" and accept it. After all, he's not to blame really...

And we know different.

What YOU must do is decline the offer. PayPal will fall on your side and tell you to send it back to the person. In ebritain's case, the address given is

They will try and get money back for you. Don't expect miracles, but do be aware that PayPal know of these sharks and have quite a good record of getting cash back from the b*stards.

The bog standard excuse is usually "I tried to email you but {family illness}".

Just had another brilliant idea... if you really don't think you have any other option to getting your money back if you don't fulfill Payscampal's obligation that you send the player back then... do this: Send the scammer a cookie. That will cost less than the player itself, since its much lighter. Make sure you have the post office track the cookie! (Wouldn't want the Cookie Monster to gobble it en route). Then when the scammer gets the package, he will get a nice stale cookie instead of his fake player. You show Paypal the proof that the shipment was picked up. Scammer says it's a "cookie"? What?!! He's nuts! Let him prove it! Of course, he can't. What's he gonna do, take a snapshot of the cookie? What does that prove? That he knows how to snap cookies? The only thing Paypal can require from you is proof that the shipment was sent. Then it just becomes your word against the "alleged scammer's"...
