mpj-mlj, I don't see why not some people are putting multiple auction numbers if they have been scammed more than once but if you have been scammed by different sellers then I don't see why you could not list each one.
Thankyou for taking the time to sign the petition though. Even though it is only early days I think the figures become more compelling when you can see all the victims listed at once. Makes a good list of bad sellers as well.

I tried to sign again with the other information.
The site only allows for one signature and it appears you cannot edit the original.

Oh well, I'm sure the list will grow in a short time. I doubt Ebay or Paypal will do anything. With over 2000 listings of these at any given point and averaging 2 or 3 sales per minute (higher at Holiday season), profits from listing fees, final value fees, and Paypal fees far out weigh satisfying some complaints.

well well well , got home from work today, checked mailbox and to my surprize...no mp4 player. opened up my email and there staring me in the face was a letter from ebay, seller wants to bury the hatchet and for me to drop my negative feedback.hmm, no player, no returned emails, no refunded money... yea sure i will change it , of course he left negative feedback for me as well. Imagine the nerveof me, paying for something and actually wanting it delivered. So I get on the phonewith paypal because this letter is written like this matter has been resolved. After being on hold for 20 minutes ( listening to some god aweful music ) I get ahold of a real person, he looks up the account and tells me about how it was shipped on such and such a day..blah blah blah. So i tell him I know this already and the tracking number is bogus and I have checked it everyday for a week, at all the carriers from hong kong to USA. Of course he doesnt believe me and tells me he will be right back so he can check for himself. After 10 more minuutes of being on hold he comes back to give me the news, " Sir I entered the tracking number and it doesnt exsist" with the sound of shock in my voice I tell him NO WAY are you serious?? Then he says he needs to contact the claim department and for me to hold again ( ohh great more crap music ) ten minutes later someone gets on the phone, first words outta my mouth are " Am I gonna have to repete this all over again or did the other guy fill you in already??"..of course I had to start the whole story from the begining. SO now she wants the tracking number so she can look for herself ( here we go again, more crap music) she comes back few minutes later again with the news that the tracking number doesnt exsist. Now anyone that knows me in the real world knows that sometimes I just cant help myself when the opertunity presents itself to be a smartass and this time was no exception. WHAT!!! you mean that guy tried to scam me??!! being the highly intelligent female she is, and in such a posistion of power she declared that it was her opinion that yes, this person was indeed trying to scam ( its like she had no clue that i already told her that the tracking number was bogus and that flunky #1 already had told me the same bit of information that I already knew ) . So she tells me that because of the seller's misleading statements, that paypal would pass judgement in my favor and that i could expect my money within 30 days. 30 days!!! now i cant order a differant player for 30 days. ( if i did my old lady would KILL me, she was already unhappy about this to begin with , and if i spend more money on an MP4 player without 1st getting my money back from the first attempt.....lets just say that it wouldnt be good ) . So here it sit, no money , no long awaited christmas present to myself and a strong desire to teach all who would scam people with hacked mp4 players a lesson. If anyone who is a scam seller is reading this I want to tell you this. GET LEGIT before its too late. The clock is counting down and sooner than you think, your going to throw the bucket in the well, and come up with nothing.
So the story continues until I get my refund, until then remember.
90% of the people dont care about your problems, and the other 10% are glad you have them.....except the people at mympxplayer.org, we care and are willing to try to do something about it

that my player was lost in the mail. And that they couldn't understand how the supplied tracking number never exsisted in the mail carriers system. ronnieray , your last statement gave me a sudden evil idea.

Currently the forum has about 8k+ members. Let's say a third of them are active, leaves about 2.3k. And say about half of them have an ebay account, leaving 1k members.

What if on a certain day, these 1k members just drop a message (like your last statement) to a particular seller (eg your ex-seller).

Wow, i think that guy would cry.

(evil laugh ) MUHAHAHAhahahahah

brother lattesurf i like it, just as these sellers enjoy wasting my time, i would take great pleasure in know that a bad seller would be wasting his time ( oh man that would take hours and hours ) cleaning out his inbox, imagine not being able to contact your bidders until you got all that mess out of your mailbox....humor in the face of adversity

That's a really great idea, count me in. Now we need a "victim", and a time set.
Ronnieray, congrats with the victory, a sauer one, but a victory.

well, it seems there may yet be one more chapter to my rollercoaster ride. Got an email from my seller today and from my understanding of english spoken by someone who is 1. a scammer and 2. not too good in english i translate it as such:
Sorry for the inconvenience ( translation: it sucks you caught us)
Please wait for more days.
we have raisen the written query to our post office( translation: were gonna send you one and see if your dumb enough to pay for it )
It takes more time to get the reply from post office.(translation: we just needed a little time to come up with an excuse after we found out you were on to our little scam )
If you have received the item, please withdraw the dispute on paypal and inform us ( translation: how about we give you free player and you withdraw your negative feedback ) one of the few nice things about america is if someone sends you something you didnt order.... you get to keep it
well until next time kids, download songs, convert movies, do it while you can...but dont get caught
