Default Success in stopping 4GB hacked player sellers on TradeMe

I would like to post a success story with a seller of hacked player.

Have a look at the auction here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=85892656.

(I've also attached a screenshot of the auction should it get removed after a certain amount of time)

After asking numerous questions about how legit a "4GB" player is, the seller has made the effort to test it and even opened his player!! He concluded it was a hacked 2GB chip and kindly removed everyone's bid and made a comment about it:

"ALL BIDS WILL BE REMOVED. I HAVE TO CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP WITH MY SUPPLIER. I OPENED THESE AND FOUND THEM TO BE HACKED 4GB, USING 2GB CHIPS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION, I WILL PUT THEM UP AGAIN ONCE I GET THE 'REAL' STOCK."

It just goes to show that there are still some good sellers out there that have the decency to do the right thing.

Call me an old sceptic but dispite all the recent news about true 4GB players I still think they are a myth. There is a lot of talk but suprisingly no one actually seems to have one. If anyone has any concrete evidence please share it as I am more than happy to be wrong.

Have a look at this auction here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=86005653.

The seller has assured me that there are actually TWO 2GB chips instead their player!

They even say they have an electronics research and design company and they tested it to be 4GB.

I'm going to buy one to what I find.

I saw you had bid on it, to be honest I do not think these sellers have a clue, they just connect it to Windows and see 4GB and accept the fact. I also have a bid on a so called genuine 4GB according to the seller here:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=85964334

We will see. If it is a real one I will donate it to site. If it is a fake I will crucify the seller. I have already spoken with the fraud squad in Auckland regarding two other fakes I have purchased that the sellers kept listing in both cases the sellers suddenly dissapeared. 1 I am told fled the country back to China.
