This person (world.seller on ebay) is selling 1GB players saying they are 4GB. Also he has asked atleast one person to leave him a positive feedback in return of the same (without exchange of money and goods) because he could not accept money through PayPal.

xenocarcinus, If you get a chance an you add this seller to the Petition so that I can list the seller on the blacklist.

I have sent emails to people who bought players from world.seller and has asked them to share their experiences here. I hope to close down this sellers ID world.seller so that people are not fooled atleast for a day or two by this guy, I think thats the least I can do.

Yes, I have signed the petition too !
I want to see this person colse his or her shop ASAP. I am going to post some of the responses I got from people I emailed through eBay and have already left him a POSITIVE response only to find out they have been cheated !!

I also plan to make a fake ebay ID and bid on a lot of his players and never to pay for them !!! :evil:

As promised heres the first rsponse.
Ironically the person doesnot want to take any action because he argues that he has paid less than what he would have paid for 1GB iPOD !!!
Also, I had sent him link to his site and he says player works fine after reformatting according instructions posed here !!!

I am sad he wont take any actions, but thats ok too, atleast he now knows he was cheated.

of course- 1/4 of the memory- still you get what you pay for- I didn't pay a crazy amount of money for it and I don't have any chance to get my money back so I am not going to dwell on it and be miserable- I still paid much less than I would have for a 1 gig Nano ipod ( plus a good FM radio and I don't have to use that stupid i-tunes software you must use with ipods)

not much I can do about now- wish I had waited on my feedback response.

now it looks like he only has 3or 4 of these mp4 players instead of 100s he had before and he is now only selling scren protectors.
I want to thank everyone who replied to my emails and did investigations into their own players and posted on this site.
I thank everyone who signed the petition.
And even though I do not hope to ever get all my money back, I am happy that I could atleast stop someone else getting fooled.
I am not really sure for how long will he stop selling these players or dont know if he has already started selling these with other ID.

[color=red]One of the stratergies he had was he had a super duper fast way of shipping his goods and that really made people give him a POSITIVE feedback even before theyhad chance to really check the condition of the produck they received, he actually managed to get the produckts in 5 days or less to UK and US which is very impressive.
I would like everyone to be aware that just cause shipping is fast, it does NOT mean he is a super-duper Awsome seller (like people have said in the ratings they left for him)[/color]again, special thanks to creators of the forum, and the Mods. and everyone else.

ok, just cancel the deal,thanks

That's it.

And I got the standard BS email from eBay stating that I entered a contract, yadda yadda yadda, I need to follow through with it. Well I guess I don't since he said to cancel it. Funny timing, huh??
