After complaing to eBay several times about hacked MP4 players with not much success, I changed my approach and filed complaints against several people who were selling FAKE MP4 players as real iPODs I complained about 2 such sellers this morning, and I also sent email to APPLE INC. and by this afternoon, these two sellers fake iPODs were taken off of eBay.
Although I do not like iPODs too much, I think the people I hate more are eBay and fraud sellers, so I guess its a kind of success story, and just wanted to share it with you.
The biggest advantage of keeping these sellers off of ebay is that eBay will earn a little less from supporting this scam and also the people who but these players (fake iPODS thinking they are real) for 150+ dollers for 4GB will be saved from this scam.

I hope something changes. I'm really pissed off that they aren't doing anything about the sellers who keep lying about this crap!!!!

okay, after not getting any response to the email from APPLE INC's pr person, I called their apple and made a complaint against ebay and some sellers who are selling chipods saying they are real ipods. I was assured that something will be done, but again, no promises were made.

I beleive the phone call to APPLE INC has done the trinc atleast for now, as all the chipods claiming to be ipods have been pulled out by ebay right now. But I am not sure for how long.

I know that designer handbag places are starting to crackdown on eBay too, a few sellers have been taken off from what I hear. I know of one, but have heard others are being taken off eBay as well...so I can see this happening as well. At least I hope!
