Default I find this a little disturbing

On the main page of this website, and a sidebar on this forum, is a box saying "Sponsored Links". Sometimes it shows Uxcell ads, sometimes it shows Ebay ads. For people like this:
factory2you - #27 on the Blacklist. Has feedback like "fake, not mp4 4gb is true, have 2 gb. the earphones are wrong and are bad!"

I thought we were trying to fight these scammers! Yet if someone here toots their own horn, their posts get modified or pulled.

You must be referring to the eBay sidebar. This issue has been discussed before, so you're not the first to find it disturbing. The admin did try to add filters to keep out the unwanteds from the eBay search, but now that there are some true 4GB players, I guess its even less possible to do that. Unless you know of any special filters for eBay that can search only for sellers that are not scamming scumbags?

AlbertaSatellite,

I totally understand what you mean.

The sidebar and main page block showing MP4 players on eBay is actually the eBay Product Editor provided by eBay. We have tried putting in filters, but there doesn't seem to be a filter to block certain sellers.

What I might do is disable displaying MP4 players altogether and just display accessories instead.

The reason why I provided this is for easy convenience for members to visit eBay items relating to MP4 players. But you have got a point that having bad sellers displayed is a contradiction to our site, so I will look at removing it.

I wonder if there is some way to filter out any that are on the Black List.
