Is this a real 4GB player?
This guy is pissed about my MP4 Scam Buster auctions, so he sent me these pictures. The flash chip shows as a K9NBG08U5. The data I have shows this IC as a 32G or 32Gb/8 = 4GB. The scam ones are 8G instead of BG, 8G = 1GB. But I thought these players couldn't handle more than a 2GB chip, x2 to make a 4GB one.
I would almost say these picture look maybe photoshopped a bit, turn that 8 into a B? http://www.albertasatellite.com/imag...m/Picture1.jpg http://www.albertasatellite.com/imag...m/Picture4.jpg |

Yeah, the first picture looks blurred, might be altered, but the 2nd picture looks fine.
These players do support upto 4GB. But for the ATJ2085, only 2x2GB, it does not support 1x4GB. For the newer ATJ209x, i'm not sure of whether it supports a single 1x4GB chip or not as i could not locate a datasheet for it. I'm not sure why there is the silver sticker over the processor chip. |
