Default So I think I just got ripped off by "colordrives"

So i thought i had done my research looked at what i needed to know to not get ripped off. I even checked a list to make sure my seller wouldnt rip me off. After winning an auction i found a website that was dedicated to him basically. He just sent it today 3/28/07 im wondering if it is a good one or a bad one. I bought a 1 gb black metal body mp4 player from him and what do i do now? What if it comes up being hacked? I thought i was safe because he was a powerseller and had square trade i have officially lost my trust in ebay if it is hacked....

Heres the link to the auction I won: 1.5" LCD BLACK 1GB MP3 MP4 FM VIDEO PMP MOVIE PLAYER.

Any advice would be great luckily i payed like 30 but does that mean im pretty much going to get a hacked one?

Seems a normal price for a 1 gig on ebay. Wait and see, you can demand a refund if it shows up as being hacked.

I went through the sellers feedback. I went up to page 23. The common theme is bad communication, the seller doesn't answer email.

Lets us know how it works out. And for sure let us know if its a hack.

sanseven,
The exact same thing happened to me. I got the same player in December. Then I found this forum. A couple of days, later I was posting that I got a hack.

This month, colordrives seems to be shipping a lot of hacked 1GB players. I guess you will just have to wait and see.

Move over to http://www.mympxplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=27460 and join the "I hate colordrives" club. Let us know what happens.

they absolutely know its a hack, they are doing it. not the manufacture.

hacked sellers order 1GB players wholesale because its a lot cheaper then a real 4GB. wholesale it can be the diffrence of 50 to 60 dollars u.s. between a 1GB and a real 4GB.

they know its a 1GB, hack it and sell it. its that simple.
