This idea has been put forward before. The question is, would you feel ethical doing this? I suppose the end justifies the means, and you could view it as a crusade for the betterment of all.
If I had the time and the will, here is how I would do it:
1) get a list of anonymous proxy servers, find working ones that will work with eBay. This can be a problem, as eBay wants to set some cookies which some proxies may remove. This way you are anonymous and your good efforts don't end up getting you burned. You might end up losing your internet account, worst case you might get charged with fraud.
OR EVEN BETTER - find a wireless hotspot(s) you can connect to - then you don't have to worry about the proxy servers!
2) find and setup some(10+) free email accounts that will work with eBay
3) setup 10+ eBay buyer accounts
4) rotate bidding using these accounts on the hacked scammer MP4 auctions. If you rotate, then one seller can't just block one account, he/she/it has to figure out all 10 of them.
5) you could also get creative using snipe bids, using
www.esnipe.com or similar. That way you outbid anyone else, and you don't have to make crazy high bids that the seller can just delete.
This is all just conjecture, by the way....
