Read B4 you buy a MP4 player!

I think people should know that the samsung flash chip prices for 1GB 2GB 4GB chips have went up in price. In some cases as high as $16 perchip because Apple are buying them all for the iPhone. So the price to have a mp4/ mp3 player made in china is higher. Some factory's cannot get 2GB and 4GB chips so they cannot make 2GB and 4GB players. If a seller is selling them real cheap be aware ask question because you could loose your money and always remember you get what you pay for if the add say 4GB player and you pay the price of a 1GB you will get a 1GB player. If you want to know if a seller is selling real players or not find out the samsung flash chip prices the change every day.

Thanks for the info. No wonder prices are going up again! 1gb mp4s had dropped as cheap as $30 and now they're going back up to $40 and $45. I was wondering what was going on.

I also noticed that the prices were going up. Hopefully this is temporary untill Apple does not need so much chips and production capacity is higher.

I have just questton,
Iphone will be only 4GB and 8GB...
So why did this raise the prices of the 2GB, ane especially 1GBs.

PS: from 30 to 45? That's a bit too much, the rise was from +3$ to +5$ per player

well I meant that the minimum price used to be $30 for 1gig.... now it's around $37 for 1gig

....well the prices are up, but it is temporary, this happened in November when apple bought up all the flash chips for their Nanos to sell during xmas.

Prices will be back down in about 1 - 2 weeks (hopefully).

I hope you are right.
But Still, I phone wiill be only 4GB and 8GB, so why did it raise the prices od 1GB and 2GB chips

Your right the Iphone is only 4GB and 8GB but the demand is so great that it effects all the flash prices. If you can not get 4GB chips you will buy more 2GB to make 4GB players that makes the prices go for 2GBs now its a shortages of 2GB's so they buy more 1GB's. The prices goes up all accross the board.
