Don't lleave the bad feedback
Once upon a time, there was a man named tombert. Tombert didn't know much about mp4 players, and bought an "8gb" player from seller "hailetele" (this is before tombert knew about memory hacks)
So when I format my player, one can imagine how disgruntled I am to see it's really only one gig. In my little rage, I leave a negative feedback for hailetele, simply because I'm mad, and want to get back at him for conning me out of $40. I wake up this morning to check my ebay, and i see I have an unpaid item notice. I start thinking "No friggin way, I made sure I paid for everything yesterday." It said I hadn't paid for my chipod that I bought over a month ago. So I then checked my paypal receits, and I realized that not only had I paid for it, I paid for it around 1 hour after I won the auction. Hailetele did this. He issued me a full refund, and then got ebay on my ass, because when a refund is issued, it looks like one hasn't paid. He then left me some negative feedback, saying I was an unreasonable buyer. The only way for me to avoid paying for the player again and to restore some virtue to my paypal was to withdraw my negative feedback, making Hailetele keep his shiny and spotless record |
The reason they do this is so they do not have to pay the eBay fee for a sale. If they file an unpaid item claim there is no fee as the transaction did not complete. If they sell it and has to refund he still pays the fee.
You can make an unfair feedback claim by providing ebay with your paypal receipt details to prove that you did indeed pay and the feedback will be cancelled and he will get a wrap on the knuckles but your negative feedback will remain. |
