I bought and paid for the above this morning - thought I was getting an absolute bargain till I searched for a PDF copy of the manual and found lots of sites like this one.

So what will I get in terms of capacity and what sort of money back can I expect if it is below the stated capacity.

It's actually quite a good looking player judging by the pics and considering I was thinking of getting one of these http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=1624 which are a bit ugly and a simillar price I won't be too dissapointed if I can get a cheaper price.

I notice the seller is blacklisted and wished I'd looked on here before but what's done is done and I will just have to try and make the best of the situation.

Your getting a 1GB player , Check the guys feedback , Youll be lucky to get any refund off the guy if you read his feedback , But you can open a paypal claim or ask him not to send the item and fully refund you

RussWWFC, jungle.bookstore gets listed on the petition against ebay scammers alot, it appears to be the latest trading name for Mensan64, aka Mensan666 who has a long history of selling hacked players.

Look at the bottom he says

"Unlike all other sellers stealing photos from the web, we took photos on our actual products without modification. What you see is what you get!"

So this guy does all his own photoes , But they are quite dated , and they say ©Mensan
all over them lol

Hi mate, I have just bought one of these from you this morning. I am a bit concerned about lots of reports of "fake memory" but you have far more positives than negatives so if there's any problem I will contact you.

The main reason I contacted you was to see if you have a copy of the manual in PDF format for me to look at as I googled and cant find one.

when you receive the player please check and confirm the player capacity under setup -> memory info. If a buyer receive a wrong player we will offer him an exchange. please note that most negative feedback we received are left by our competitors' related accounts, and they didn't pay for the items at all.


I thought I'd initially be pleasant and not accuse him before I had the player but it's not looking good. I think I'm going to have a bit of a battle on my hands but so be it

No manual sent either - and it looks like he is trying to get me to check the hacked figure.

Luckily I got the manual and the know how to check the figure on here, if it ever arrives that is!
