www.deals-directinc.com selling hacked players
 

I just purchased 2 8GB mp4 players from www.deals-directinc.com they seemed alright at first and were prompt to respond to my emails and questions, now that I have recieved the players, and they turned out to be 1GB hacked to show 8GB, they have become just about impossible to get a hold of. The players ship from North Carolina, so beware there are now US based websites selling these hacked players.
BTW -I'm new and this website has been a huge help on figuring these players out. I like the small size, and anything but an Ipod is the best player out there.

Thanks for the aditional information. I like the players, but I would have prefered to only pay for a 1 GB player.

Edit: I was able finally to get a hold of one of the customer service representatives, and I told them the players were not working correctly. They told me to return them and they will refund the money minus a restocking fee. I'm going to send the players back UPS certified so I have a record of when they recieve them and hopefully I will be able to get the money back without any problems.

I was able to send the players back via UPS with a signature verified delivery, and the mp4s were received back by Deals-Directinc yesterday. I was just able to get in contact with the same person on their live chat customer service (Probably the only person in the company with different names for different orders) They are only online for about 1/2 or less every day so I have been watching the site while at work to be able to catch them. They are sending me a refund by check (that's a new one) and it is coming via USPS priority mail with a tracking number :P I think I may just be one lucky guy and get a refund for the hacked players that they sent me. I will now only buy from trusted sellers with proven sales of true mp4 players. 8)
