Default Bad Seller/s I have dealt with. sosowai and rogerlam628

I believe sosowai and rogerlam628 are either the same person, or they work for the same company.

sosowai

1. The name/trading name of the trader.
sosowai
rogerlam628

2. Where the trader is currently trading from (ie: eBay etc).
both from ebay.com.au

3. Have you posted negative feedback for the post? This is really important as it shows you have a legit problem with the trader.
I had posted positive feedback unfortunately, I'm trying to see if I can withdraw it, I may be reduced to leaving a negative follow-up.

4. The reason/why this person is a bad trader? Example: Did you buy a 4 Gig player but only got 512MB out of it?
Item advertised as 4GB, only formatted to 2GB

5. Provide a link to the trader's details.
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/sosowai
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/rogerlam628

6. If you have a bad trader, create a new thread and in the [subject] put the traders name or trading name.
okies!

I am in the middle of a dispute with this seller and man, are they ever thick in the head. I tell them what restitution I want and their response is as follows:

dont' want to ship it back ,dont' want to get compensate from me ? how could i do ? i just want to sovle the problem for you asap ,right ?
Reporting to ebay or paypal still need us solve the problem together ,right ?
Many thx for ur coopearation with me !

"Reporting to ebay or paypal still need us solve the problem together ,right ? "

Riiiiight! ;-)
He wishes. Reporting definitely means one party or the other is not working together to solve the problem.

However...his post is something that will, unfortunately work sometimes in the dispute. By stating in his response (which I presume has also been sent to eBay/PAyPal) that he has offered you a replacement or compensation, he has a chance that the reviewer will see that and rule in his favor, regardless of the rest of the case. MAke darned sure you have documented everything in that same manner that has actually happened. And do it often, like in every email. That way your case is most likely to be seen, not his.

Respond to his assertions. "dont' want to ship back" I will gladly ship it back at your expense "dont' want to get compensate from me ?" I do want a refund as i ordered {specs} and received {specs}. As soon as a full refund including shipping has been processed, I will gladly return the item at your expense. And so forth.

I've unfortunately been on both sides of this kind of dispute: one with a bad seller and once with a buyer who was trying to scam me. In both cases, the above tactic, and proper grammar and spelling made my case stronger. Remain professional, stick to the facts, proofread, and you will prevail.

Doesn't surprise me. I recently bought three different adapter cables from three different sellers. They all came the same day, in identical packaging, with the same return address on the label. I guess it could have been dropshipped, but I think it was more likely a similar setting to yours.

problem is, I'd have been happy buying a 2GB Media player, and for the price, it's still a bargain, so in that sense, I don't mind too much.

But thousands of people are getting ripped off every month. I just want to be able to withdraw my positive feedback. I don't know of that's even possible.

No, unfortunately it's not.

I really wish eBay would put a minimum delay on when someone can post a feedback. I know I've been too eager and posted feedback only to have the purchase conk out on me a day later. I know it's not realistic, but hey, a guy can dream.

The guy/s wanted evidence that the players were "faulty", so I sent a photo of the 4GB sticker attached to the back, and another photo of the Memory Info screen, showing 0% or 1% used with 1950M Capacity

I did this for both sellers with both devices. I think the fact that they had 4GB stickers on them will be a strong case against them.

Most folk will peel them off straight away, but I'd left them on because I didn't want to muck up the finish.

The 4GB and 2GB ME2 devices seems to be all right.

I have bought 6 players from power_player88, and tested them all, and all seems to be right.

I have copied big files to them, and checked that it gave me the correct values / information.

So far, so good.
