My apologies to K Wong of go2gold and everyone here for jumping to conclusions. When I got these two shuffle clones I immediately reformatted one of them as per the instructions found on these forums and then tried to load the files. They stop loading and gave me a file error. Whoa! Hacked memory, right? Nope. I was mystified by the fact that i could not get the drive to read any less than I GB. So I tried something: I reformatted with FAT32 instead of FAT file system as it says in the tutorials. Guess what. I have full capacity now! Files load and play to the limit! Besides that, the seller even wrote me back that I could send the player back to his US address at any time for a full refund. As I bonus, the other player, which I hadn't opened at all yet, turned out to be a 2GB! Wow, I feel bad for giving this guy a bad rap here. Glad I didn't do Ebay feedback yet.

Kevx, if you ever need decent shuffle clones, check out eBay seller spendlessbuymorestore. I've purchased 3 from him over the last couple of years and had good luck with all of them.

Yeah, that's what happened to me with my nephew's chipod from usdescuento. Turned out to be 512mb which is plenty for him and he will never know, but it still ticks me off.
