HOW TO BUY THESE PLAYERS ON EBAY

I see a lot people whinign and complainy about these players, file size isn't right, battery is bad, the trail of tears goes on.

Understand a few things about these players:

-They're made in China, productionc ose inc luding parts (dpending on hd size) is $5-$15 USD. Understand that you are getting cheaply produced electronic device, again CHEAP ELECTRONIC DEVICE....FROM F'N CHINA.

-They're only as good as the memory mfc of the chip in your player (typical Samsung)

-They're manufactured by private companies. You may think the Nano knock offs are coming fromt he same company but they are not. Try looking up a wholesaler and see where the trail leads you.

BUYING THESE ON EBAY

-Check out your seller. How is their feedbacka nd what are they selling that they have had positive feedback for. If they've been selling wallpapers for comp's and then these players DON'T BUY from the guy. It's bad sign. It's obvious but something few peple look at.

-Buy from a seller with an establsihed history fo selling these devices. In order for a seller to last the buyers ahve to be pleased with the product. Look for a return policy.

PAYING WITH PAYPAL

-You have 45 days to file a complaint from the DATE YOU PAY. You can file a claim over non-reciept or not as described. If you don't get your player or it's smashed, erroring, not the right one; file a not as described claim. You'l get something back and it looks bad for the seller with both companies. Negative fedback, complaints they all matter.

-Don't trust a seller if they ask you to stop a complaint, the complaint is your ONE chance to get it all fixed with PayPal as the referee.

FINAL NOTE

Read the PayPal and eBay User Agreements regarding disputes so you know what's up if you have to file one. It's all there. I learned the hard way got boned on eBay on one of these players. So first had exp right here, USE IT.

Don't be a dumbass, read read READ the user agreements, that goes with ANY company. And if you get screwed and you read all of this, it's your fault and you shouldn't be crying about it.

Quite readable, even with the typos...

I am new to cheaper MP3/4 players. Thanks to this forum, I've found quite a few recommendations on good and bad sellers as well as MP3/4 players I never knew existed. I did some research before finding this forum, and (happily) I found a good MP3/4 seller on eBay and I am very happy with my Nano clone. Research before buying ANYTHING is generally paid back many-fold, as long as one takes their time and ask lots of questions.

Reminders such as yours certainly help, so thanks!
