Add to Paypal (ebay) to the Black list
Im buy an MP3/MP4 player from rogerlam628, pay to Lam Yat Chi; ebay item # 330116395885 in May 7-2007 item say: 2" TFT 4 GB MP3 MP4 FM USB MOVIE PLAYER with GIFT case". Im received one fake MP/MP4 player. Im go to claim in paypal but, they insist in return the item to de seller. Im OK, im return item to seller to address indicated in clain chat. Later 35 day, item retur to mi by "incomplete address" and the time of claim is finish. Im paid for one fake item and for postal cost to china for return FOR NOTHING. Paypal it does nothing by its clients, they obtain great income (money) with the swindlers.
Therefore, they do not listen to our request to stop this fraud กกก While this happens, the fraud will continue existing. |
You need to save the packaging that was returned and contact Paypal again letting them know you did return it and that the address the seller provided was incorrect. You now have proof of the sellers bad intent. With this, PAypal should be a bit more understanding.
Similarly, I'm not sure how this would work in Chile, but here in the States you would now also have a claim for mail fraud with the postal service. While it might not go to far, enough claims and the seller's packages may just start getting tighter scrutiny coming in country. |
but, how I make the reclamation, if the closed case this. Paypal says, from now on, contacts with the saller and closed case. I cannot open another claim by this case.

Refer them back to the case. They required you to return the item, you did. The seller then either played dome game and held it then returned it, or it was a genuinely bad address. Unless you personally closed the case, it should still be possible for PayPal to deal with this.
Spell out exactly what happened with dates and times and so on, paying particular attention to the part where you were requested to send the item back and that you complied. If you have a receipt for the return, that would be particularly good. If the claim was left in their hands and they closed the case prior to the returned item showing up at the sellers, then it is on them. Remember, they do require a form of shipping that provides for at least delivery confirmation to go forward. So if you can provide documentation that you played by their rules, then you should have a valid position. |
I send the package by Chile Post office, international certificate to Hong Kong, without a tracking number, only DHL or UPS give that Tracking number service and is very expensive, more than several MP3/MP4 players.
Therefore, the gentlemen of Paypal when not having traking number and the time of claim are finalized, easy for them, is to close the case in favor of seller, a swindler seller กกก P.d. the address is send to my by Paypal sistem, in claim chat and e-mail. |
Well, I'm sorry to say, but in that case you did not follow the instructions of the buyer protection program and will not likely be able to get anything.
Instead of wading through paypal, I got this from wikipedia, but it is the important part of the protection policy: Quote:

Re: Add to Paypal (ebay) to the Black list
I got my money back from this scammer!
I escalated it to Paypal to investigate after I pointed out that the seller was making false and misleading statements in his listing and that he should at least give me back the shipping costs. So I ended up with a 2GB player (sold as a 4GB) for $12.99USD -- good result for what I paid at least... Here's the email I got after the investigation from Paypal: Dear Bruce McDonald, We have concluded our investigation into your claim. Transaction Date: Jul 23, 2007 Transaction Amount: -$38.99 USD Your Transaction ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Seller's Transaction ID: 7LU66132LU0104925 Case Number: PP-318-524-227 Seller's Name: Lam Yat Chi Seller's Email: rogerlam628@gmail.com You have received a refund via PayPal in the amount of $26.00 USD. Sincerely, Protection Services Department ------------ I also let them know that I signed the petition here and provided them the link as well as proof I wasnt alone in this matter. Interestingly, I also received a phishing fake paypal email after I made my ebay tranaction with this seller - must be doing more than we think!! |
