DANA.RACK, The brown stuff has hit the fan
I left three negs for dana.rack and his feedback is now in freefall. Scary stuff!!!
If there are any members or even non-members out there who want to help people from being scammed you could go onto Ebay and warn bidders about dana.rack. I cant believe that people are still bidding and even sending in Bank Transfers. You will only be able to do it about 6 times, after that Ebay will block your emails for the rest of the day. I have about 10 emails sitting in my email that I cannot answer because I have used up my pathetic allowance. |
Re: DANA.RACK, The brown stuff has hit the fan
well I just did it.
I sent out a few warnings to high bidders about 8Gb hacked mp3 players. Wasn't sure how to word the warning didn't want the bidder to think it was spam or another seller in competition. I put this:- "Warning! Beware this seller "dana.rack" is selling mp3 players with hacked memory they will not hold 8Gb worth of music they are fake." Has anyone got any good suggestions what would be a good way of warning bidders? |
I think the main problem is that it is extremely unlikely that this seller has any items for sale, but you are right as well, in the unlikely event that they are suppling players, at the prices they are going for there is no way they can be 8GB. On top of all that they are free postage as well.

After many emails between myself and dana.rack, he did finally admit to the previous IDs ie. tommy-smith-jonesy and mr.mobiles. If you look at the feedback he has replied with a load of Hong Kong post tracking numbers. The latest one I could find was 22September. He openly admitted to me that if the sale price did not come up to scratch, he would refund the money. Now that doesn`t tally up with the 2 8GB players and the 16GB memory stick that I bid on, which I was assured would be in the post as soon as payment had cleared. The total for the 2 players and the 16GB memory stick was £41. There is no way on this earth that you could buy 2 8GB players and a 16GB USB memory stick for £41 or $82. That`s totally out of order anyway. He could just as easily put a reserve on the items.
It`s been an interesting day. |
Lambs to the slaughter!! DANA.RACK
It is astonishing how many people are still paying big money for items from dana.rack. You can lead a horse to water etc. This guy is still pulling in thousands of pounds a day by postal orders, bank transfers and cheques. The scary thing about this is that the listings appear to come to an end a couple of hours before the Banks open after a public Holiday here in the UK. His feedback has been going down since yesterday but still his items sell. Ebay, despite numerous Emails about his contact details and his shady past do nothing. The last I heard from them this morning was that they were still investigating his contact details. I originally told them about his contact address registerred with Ebay and the payment address over 4 days ago at which time I also informed them about his past Ebay IDs tommy-jones-smithy and mr.mobiles and the company name FONEXS. It seems the only proof Ebay will accept is a confession from the wrong doer. Nobody can be in any doubt about Ebay`s ethics in all this. It`s all about getting money from sellers and buyers. Their values dont hold up to any sort of investigation. I think this guy will be at the bank when it opens in the morning to clear out his account. By my reckoning approx 1000 people could have been robbed with Ebay aiding and abetting. |
