Ebay Seller - hailitele

:evil: Everyone who has read this forum knows ebay seller hailitele is a crook.
The question is how do they avoid negative feedback.

Well its simple, if someone lodges negative feedback hailitele will in turn lodge false "Non Payment Disputes" with eBay, even if they have received and acknowledged a payment. They do this because they know the eBay system is automated and it is a way to pressure buyers to withdraw their honest negative feedback.

They also respond when they receive negative feedback by lodging feedback of their own for the buyer. The negative feedback they leave is usually TOTAL LIES, so the buyers are very keen to get rid of it. They therefore agree to a mutual withdrawal.

These guys are crooks.

It digusts me that crooks like these are getting away with things like that.

I wonder if we can get enough people to complain, eBay will do something? But then again, he's making them money? The buyer doesn't though do they?

I think i may have found a way to deal with these guys, but its going to have to be a collective effort, i will post shortly about the idea i have - i think it has a very good chance of working also.

Amazing! I was just coming in to post abut that guy. He tried that same tactic with me. I gave a neutral feedback about some memory-hacked players and gave me the mutual-withdrawal routine. When I pointed out that my complaint was legitimate and that I checked the memory. (using a tool I got here, BTW) THIS was his response:

Hi, thanks for your inquiry. The "Capacity" part is clearly stated in the item description, the 2GB is for acting as a 2GB USB flash drive for storing data files only, and the actual playable and recordable capacity is 1GB.
It can hold 4GB of songs as data, but among them, only the songs locate in the first giga byte of the memory section are playable, thanks.

-WHat a load of BULLSHIT!

This is proof that HAILITELE is seeking to DECEIVE & MISSLEAD buyers deliberatley.

Given that HAILETE repeatedly use the same stock standard responce to complaints, rather than change the capacity comments they use in their product description - DEMONSTRATES a DECEPTIVE INTENT.

PS. According to the logic demonstrated in their responce to complaints - no Memory would be available for MP3 play functions. - You are right it is bullshit.

They are crooks.
Lets get them.

WOW! i'm totally with Amigajoe. I was just on my way here to post about hailitele as well. I just bought 2 hacked "supposedly" 4gb players from him. He gave me the exact SAME response. If you notice, at least with both my auctions, it DOES NOT state anywhere that they are 1gb. I emailed him back stating this and am yet to receive any response. Let's gang slap this fool. PS- I'm totally on board for whatever we can do against him.

Yep, he's ripping poeple off by leading them to believe his players are true 2,4 or 8 GB when all along most all of his players are only 1GB. I'm ready to take him down, lol.

Update....

All of the responses to my e-mails seen so automated due to the fact that alot of people on here have gotten the same exact ones! I like the player, but it's not what I was lead to believe it was, a 4 gb player.

After filing a dispute through paypal nothing happened. The day the dispute was terminated I revieved an e-mail from paypal to take a survey about the way my dispute was handled. that wat that.
After that, I left negative feedback to halitele and he was quick to do the same. He ended giving me a full refund, the player and withdrew the negative feedback. My comments remain there.

Then I got a "no-payment recieved" from e-bay about the item! After I left my transacton information I was asked by e-bay if I wanted to report for XXXXXX (THEY asked about a specific abuse, but I can't remember). I think it's getting though to e-bay about this guy.

I also got "genuine 4GB gen3" "MP4" player from hailitele which actually turned out to be a hacked 1 GB(The glacier type). When I pushed them on the topic of the hacked memory they only gave me the same automated response they give most other people. I complained to ebay and they told me to "sort it out with the seller".
I left neutral feedback because I didn't want return negative feedback to reflect on my reputation as a seller. Hailitele opened a dispute using Square Trade trying to get me to retract my neutral feedback. I told them if they send me another player free of charge I'll think about it. No response yet.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND SHOULD BE TAKEN DOWN FROM CHINA TOWN.
I'm very surprised to see that they're still in business.
Anyone who finds a way and wants help bringin em to thier knees, I'm on board!!!
