Is there a whitelist post?
I just got a very nice true 4GB off ebay. Hack checked it and it was true 4GB nano clone (9.1.52 memory). Came with armband, car charger, wall charger, USB cable, some crappy iPod style headphones, and a FM thing to be able to listen to it in the car.
Damn good deal over all. Shipped in 3 days (I was surprised). I would like to inform others of honest people (and yes, we should shout loudly about the scum).

Shipping was normal/hi ($19 or so), and auction cost was 42 (so it was like $61 USD. Came with an arm band, wall charger, car charger, the USB cable, the MP4 condom, and also an FM transmitter (to play in the car I guess). I think that is more "extras" than you get with many players. But I did a "hack-check" low level format routine, and it is a TRUE 4bg. I put on a couple of huge WMA images (CD images), so that the "drive" was almost full (like 3.8GB), and all of those images played just fine from the unit (as a USB drive), so I am sure the memory is actual (did all of that prior to posting feedback to the auction).
Works fine, and is a true 4GB. Also, you can change the volume while playing (a complaint I have heard a lot here), and you can record the FM radio.
I am not complaining about this unit. However, so far, I have not been able to get it to charge well, using the USB. Today, I will use the wall plug charger, and see if I get a full battery charge.

Sorry buddy, but the purpose of this list is for members who have had honest dealings with sellers, not a seller posting his own website.
This kind of unsolicited crap is highly suspicious. I would advise anyone reading this thread to not buy anything from an unknown seller. Just because it is posted on this board does not make it legitimate. For legitimate sellers, check members' posts who have nothing to gain from it.
There are also known good sellers of players associated with this board. UXCell,MP4Nation, and House of DAP are three. From personal buying experience, I would also recommend JTC Electronics.

Ha! Just checked out your website! For $116, I'd kick in forty more and buy and 8GB Meizu SL! What a joke!

wow zetronics, your prices are pretty high for chipods. 4gb - over $80.00?! For that price, you might as well get a higher-quality player. Check out tinydealdirect if you want decent chipods and other models for a really low price. Other members and myself have reported good experiences with them.

Re: Is there a whitelist post?
Maybe the question shouldn't be "is there any good sellers out there", it should be, are there any good clones out there. The answer is no.
If we learn nothing else from all the thousands and thousands of posts at this forum, learn this, there are no good clones. Look at all of the posts saying "my clone broke in one day", "can't play music", "stuck hour glass", "hacked". Like omg.
There are honest sellers, but regardless if they are honest or not, they are all selling the same crappy clone.
Seriously - $199.99 for a genuine Apple iPod verses $40 bucks for a chinese made clone. Do you really need to be told there could be a difference in the quality?

Hi Husker,
Thanks for your business. It is truly appreciated.
If you are still having battery issues, we will be happy to take the player in under warranty and upgrade you to one of our newer nano-styled players. They are a huge improvement ober the typical 1.8" player widely sold and share the same 1.4" display as the Apple product.
The good news is, the battery life is about 12 hours playing music.
The upgrade is free - you just need to send the player to us and we'll handle the rest.
