Problem with HouseOfDap.com and warranty

lets not start the competitor wars eh!! - be civil, all that crap is over now there is room for all, no childishness, you are all in business so all should act responsibly etc etc

i think due to your site and things going wrong this OP had real cause to worry and complain, you disappeared and they felt lost and alone, if it were me this happened to i would be here saying the same thing

I hope you can see my previous concerns and reasons. We previously had a HouseofDAP section of the forum awhile ago. The problem was complaints started coming in and then you just 'disappeared' all of a suddent. I know previously you used to be an active member in the forum as well, then suddenly no reply from messages nor emails so I was getting concerned. I had the forum opened for as long as possible, but didn't want to put our members at risk by having the forum up for HouseofDAP when there were complains from members coming in and no communication from you. I didn't want it to come back to us because they saw HouseofDAP from our site. We still remain independent and there is no one company support or backing us up financially. We wanted to make good recommendations to our members but at that time, we couldn't recommend HoD anymore given the reasons above.

A broken player after two months of use, in most cases caused by user upgrading with wrong firmware im not saying this was the case here) but to call this a SCAM is a bit to much i must say.

And as i said earlier the warranty is still valid from the manufacturer.
But i repeat and apologize that we are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused for any of our buyers.

Im here to set thing right, and to let everyone know that we take our responsibility to compensate any buyer for faulty products.

I have sent PM to member who posted this and have not received any reply, he may never return to read my message and i have no way helping him.

Sure and i have explained what happened in several posts to make it clear for all parts.
Im not asking you to take side in this case but to make a reasonable decision in managing your forum.

We have made or mistakes not visiting your forum to give people support here when there still was a HOD forum.

I have done and will continue do my best to set things right and wonder what is the reason to keep an old thread that sends the wrong signal to your members?

Well, we know you're back now. Everyone else who is reading this post will surely know this as well.
I noticed we haven't had many recent posts relating to HoD and since you're site has been back up for a year now, it must be a good indication.

Now that I know you are active, if there are any posts or messages relating to HoD I'll surely alert you to it so you know about it. Do you have your own HoD forum as well?

Sure we are here, but we dont feel welcome on a forum with posts with false accusations that send wrong signals to your members about HOD.

Dont you think the title for this thread is misleading for your members and visitors when there has never been a scam from our side.
And i repeat again, the warranty was till valid when the user posted this.

I think once users read the replies, they can judge for themselves what they think. The user has stated their case and you have stated yours. People are entitled to their opinions we encourage that. As long as your explanation is there, I'm sure members will read more about it and know that you have done your part and if the original poster didn't reply, then they can make their judgement from that.
