khang, Instuctions on how to reset your chip are here
http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic...=asc&&start=30
After you reset your device you will need to upgrade it with a full firmware these are very hard to find. I have found another version of 3.2.13 that appears to be a copy from a CD so this may be a full version. There are 2 one for a player with FM Radio and on without.

If you are going to open your player and reset your chip I suggest you download these firmware as you will need them after you reset your player.

Have you ever Dissassemble any player and reset the chip , tadad1?

Have a look on this!
http://www.s1mp3.org/en/docs_deadrec...a5f612d7#ancr3

My player is in recover state and Windows can recognize it!

So, may I skip the step 3,4,5 ????

Please help me because my English is not good!

khang, I have never had to reset a chip as I have never killed a player. My concern with your situation is that although your player reports that it is in recovery mode the Firmware Upgrade Tool is not reading the device.

Your Quote: "When I chose Recover firmware button to start the recovering, there is a error message box:
"Read or write device information failed! Please exit the program and check if device in connecting!"

If the upgrade tool cannot connect with the player it cannot upgrade the firmware. The only thing I can think that will fix this is to reset the chip.

To download the full firmware on the chinese site there is a large green button under the description.

My player needs a full firmware for recovering!
Is it included in the CD-ROM driver when I bought it!

khang 7th Jun 2006 6:39 am

Tadad1, thank you very much!
A last question. Is a full firmware included in the CD-Rom Driver which accompanied with my player !

tadad1 7th Jun 2006 6:42 am

khang, You will have to check your CD it will be a .bin or .fw file. Not all players have one included on the CD my player did not have one.

khang 7th Jun 2006 6:26 pm

Heym Tadad1!
I checked my CD driver, there is a folder FW (maybe FIRMWARE) with many file .bin, and .fw.
I tried each of them, but the Upgrade Tools noticed that "Unknow Flash Type"

huhu, I must have some internal operations...
Anyway, thanks a lot!

Hey, Tadad1!
Why is my player recognized by WIN (item in the system tray), but I don't see its driver letter in WIN EXplorer!

So, I can't extract and repair the flash!

I really must reassemble it for reseting chip!???
