hi...
i think my mp4 is now dead...i wrongly download a firmware...ATJ2085V2 3.2.16...i downloaded this firmware...but i actually should download this firmware Type C1 players ACTS16D_16_SZG_HKX 2005/7/22 - 3.2.16...can anyone help me???please...wat do i hav to do??my comp can't detect my mp4!! :( :(

Hey skyline1301...I got the same problem.
I wonder if your player is the same as mine...

Mine is 512MB and needs 3.2.16 version.

Maybe the wrong firmware that u downloaded can help me out.
Can u give me the link or PM it to me?

You said urs is type C.
I think u can get firmwares for type C from s1mp3.org if you haven't tried already. Use this link:

nop...mine is not like that..it is like an ipod nano...mine is 512Mb also...y dont u try download this firmware --->ACTS16D_16_SZG_HKX 2005/7/22 - 3.2.16...it is in the link that u gave me...btw,i already know this link from this website...
erm,i my comp cannot detect my mp4...and my mp4 is just look like dead...wat do i hav to do???please help me...

There is some very useful information on s1mp3.org that will help you recover a 'dead' player. It's worth a try and good luck.

You need to follow the instructions from: http://www.s1mp3.org/en/docs_deadrec.php#top.

Have you tried that yet? It does involve disambeling your mpx player and shorting the pins though, so hope you're ready for that!
