[solved] Update bad firmware and my mp3 player is dead now

Hi.
I have a Acer ADVANCE MP3 PLAYER and i update bad the firmware and my mp3 player is dead now, but ... before i create a backup with s1fwx but i don't know do with the backup.

If i use "MP3 PLAYER TOOL" the software to load the backup say: "INVALID UPGRADE FIRMWARE FILE! and i try with other firmwares but ALWAYS say: "unknown flash type".

Can somebody help me please?

arish_06 wrote a very detailed set of instructions on how to bring your player back to life. It will take some 'playing around with' to get it but you should be able to follow this right.

Try that and let us know how u get on.

Congrats on recovering your player.
What did you do exactly?
Did you have the do the 'full' recover by opening up your playing and shorting the pins or was it just a straight firmware update from your backedup firmware??

Hi.
It was not necessary open my mp3 player because the player work correctly in recover mode.
I update a "full" firmware what i found in a thailan site, but the player still is dead, then i try update the backup and it's do correctly, and my player is work correctly.
