anyway yeah i installed wrong firmware on this IPOD like mp4 player , i followed everything for that one guide on shorting and stuff i did it rightit worked but then instead of the mp4 player screeen working it becomes blue and soon it becomes white, and soon like 10 minutes later it just wont detect into the computer anymore even if i short it again.
o yeah the ware is 3.5.37 also again um it detects the mp4 as a USB MASS STORAGE and GENERIC thingy is that supposed to happend, and yeah its still blue how can i stop it blue.

- open mpx player, shortcuts pins on chip to put player in revovery mode,
- then using upgrade firmw. tool upgrade it with basic FULL
firmw.(like MP-683E-GC-V01 - this is version 3.0.4.2).
Your mpx player will work now just like some usb memory stick, and
screen on mpx player will NOT work yet - don`t worry, that`s normal.
- restart mpx player, and now you can upgrade your mpx player
with orginal (backuped) firmware. After restart, all should be ok - as new.

If you are unable to do this (last step) - you have option to try 2 other firmw. files wich are ver. 3.2.16, not like orginal 3.5.35.

i did exactly what this said from donkez and it still doesntwork it only appears blue still

I think you have to keep trying until you get it to work. I remember donkez said it took him a lot of tries before his worked. I could be wrong though.

hi,
if you are unable to do last step - to upload your orginal firmware or you
just have blue screen - I think that you have to find some RIGHT firmware wich will work on your player.
I don`t know what mpx player you have, but for me - i think that I try
maybe 8,9 firmware files before mpx player start working ok.
hope this help - keep trying, until you find "compatible" firmware for your
player ... it takes couple days and many trys for me.
And don`t be sad, if your pc see mpx player as usb mass storage device - he still working ok, you just have to find the right firmware for him.

note : my orginal (backuped) firmware don`t work anymore on my mpx player - simply he don`t want to start normaly, so i`m using some other firmware witch works ok... maybe this is your problem too, i don`t know.

can u please give me alist of firmware files, my mp4 is ATJ2085 and it looks like this

All the firmware we have is on our site under:
DOWNLOADS --> Firmware

Have a look there.
Yours looks like a 1.5" screen one, so choose the "medium screen size" section and all the firmware is there. You can also try the others as well if you have no luck with those.

Can you take a photo of it and upload it to the site as well please? If you can also describe for me what is on the Main Menu as well and whether it has "Games" or not, that would be great. I will add it to the firmware download page for your firmware.

yes when it loads up theres flowers, and yes there is games music movie umm picture phonebook and one more i think but i forgotit maybe its syssetup

oh yes also sorry again when i do it i short it then put it in recovery right when i put it in recovery is it supposed to make me choose a firmware and when i chose the firmware u put on it says invalid updgrade firmware file, then on the log it said it was sucess
