Default Recorver a Dead MP4 2Go

Hi

I've followed the tutorial for reflashing the MP4 players, it as worked but i still cant power on it...But i can use it as a USB storage key...
I think thats because it's not the original firmware...
So with my second same player working, i've extracted and repared the firmware as described in tutorials, but the flashing tool said that the player is busy...
So i have tried to re make the player in recovery mode, but the flashing tool say me that the firmware isn't compatible...
It work only with the firmware that is not original...It's Him

I don't understand this, It's the SAME player with the same original firmware...
How can i do to make it work? (at this time it just power on the blue light of the screen but no inscriptions... )

bladgum,

Good on you for solving it yourself.

I've been away and missed replying to you post straight away. There has been a post about recovering a dead player here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic...=asc&&start=30 which would have been helpful but since you've solved it yourself, good for you.

...lucky for bladgum. He had his original firmware in his other player so all he needed to do was extract it correctly.

guivarrichio and skaterfou, if you guys don't have your original player backed up somehow then I am afraid it's gonna be a pain finding the firmware equivalent to your original.

Good luck with that

guivarrichio and skaterfou, if you guys have the nano-lookalike player similar to bladgum then there's a lot of firmwares for that kind of player floating all around. In fact, there are some on this site...3.2.16 and 3.3.35 I believe.

Also have a look at the firmwares on http://s1mp3.org if you haven't already.

Check those out and let us know if you find the correct firmware.
