My Computer doesnt detect my mp4

I am having problems with my MP4
My Computer doesnt detect my MP4.
Windows recognize it as a driver.
It works perfectly before.

Some questions for you:

1. Did you do anything to your player before this happened?
2. Has you computer ever been able to detect your player in the past?
3. Have you tried plugging it into another port in your computer?
4. Have you tried plugging your player into another COMPUTER and see if that works?

Let me know of those answers.

So you didn't do anything to your player? You didn't upgrade the firmware on your player? It seems very strange it's not detecting it all of a sudden if it was before. It seems to be a fault with the player or cable if you've tried different ports and a different computer as well.

i accidentaly pressed the firmwire upgrade before and when i try to press the delete and local folder in the menu of my player it suddenly turns off?

When you say "accidentaly pressed the firmwire upgrade", means you tried to upgrade the firmware of your player from your computer using the "MP3 Player Upgrade Tool"?

i pressed the upgrade firmwire in the settings menu of my mp4. my mp4 is a 1.2 inch ipod look alike
