even if the battery disconnected you can work on usb connected Battery is not needed. Using the second firmware you can use your firmware normally, but screen wony work ;/ i am working on it and if it'll be done i say you about it.

Yes and ther is the problem because we need firmware in ehich the screen will work. I don't have the f/w for my player (yet) but i think that i can work on firmware to "detect" my screen for now works only as mp3 player
with out screen, and works as a torch

Haha . . . now my player still like a torch , the screen is ALL WHITE :'( damn stoopid guys, y did they made upgradeble versions for our MP4

Do you have the CD that came with it?

Look for Sunplus software on CD. Install. Run it and tell us what happens...

On the cd is not the sunplus soft but there is only mps tools and nothing more. I think i go to shop and try to ask about the firmware, but i think it don't work cause it is hipermarket I'm still searching......
