blue screen after firmare upgrade
Hi Binh,
i tried to upgrade a mp4 nano lookalike firmware the same as I did with my other problem unit. it worked on first unit, but on this second one, it says firmware upgrade succsesfull, but all I get is a blue screen on the player. my pc still recognises it, and I can open to see what doc and files are on. I checked the forum page for problems with dead players, but it looks ;like I have to open up the player, which I dont really want to do, as I'm not a very hand on technical guy! any suggestion? thanks |

Re: blue screen after firmare upgrade
hi gil, I managed to fix it myself, problem is I cant exactly remember what I did!
but my player is working again, so there is a solution. if you backed up your firmware that came with the player you should be okay, I think all I did was remove new firmware I installed, and I re-installed my backed up firmware. sorry that I cant be of much help, I honestly cant remember what I did to fix it, but try go to Downloads page on this site, click on Firmware and download firmare for medium size screen. I think thats the route I took. I will kep trying to remember and I will post a reply here soon as I have figured it out! Don |

Re: blue screen after firmare upgrade
skaterfou,
If you did not back up your firmware, then look on the cd that came w/ unit. Look for .bin file, and upload to player. This may restore at least partial functionality. Please post results.... |
