...Tadad1, maybe the reason why I get a blank screen is because xamleTT's firmware is designed for screens larger than 1.5"

I just realized that the picture ratio of the firmware in the s1res utility appears more like 2" diagonally.

Would exporting in pictures of 1.5" ratio using the s1res utility and upgrading my player again solve the problem? (at least the menu screens) ...it sure would be a long process though.

Do you think I should try?

arish_06, arish you could give it a try maybe one or 2 images and then try. The only problem I can forsee is I have noticed that the image sizes are hardset. For instance a couple of times I have tried adding larger images and what happens is they are always displayed in the original size and cropped.

tadad1, you were right...the image sizes are fixed and even if I import pictures for 1.5" players the image size still stays in its original 2" ratio with black coloring on the bottom of the imported picture.

Any suggestions on what I should do next? Do you know any firmwares similar to xamleTT's?

Thanks

...seems like 3.2.16 is the old generation of mpx players. Now there's 3.5... in the market so it's very hard to find the correct 3.2.16 firmware out there. Even my current 2gb mp4 player is 3.5.35.

Anywayz if anybody can upload a 3.2.16 with a battery icon on the top right corner similar to xamleTT's firmware but for 1.5" players, I'd be grateful....I still need to completely recover my partially fuctioning 512MB 3.2.16 player.

Thanks
