wrathofpyrp, we're gonna need some more information about your player:
What was the original firmware that came with it?
What was the memory size?
As is it right now, is your player functioning in any manner?
How many firmwares (and what kinds) have you tried upgrading with so far if you have?

Try looking at the firmwares on this site if you haven't already and check ou the firmware list here:

First of all thanks for replying.
I don't know the original firmware
512 MB Memory
It will start as an adfu server when I short it but is undetected normally, The player will not start.
I have tried 3.2.16_pl_lang_by_gutek
I have dialup so I cannot download the 90 mb file
The board is a Se5155-V2
The memory chip is a hynix chip
I forgot the opening and closing screen but the background is blue with the icons in a circle and the name below it.

wrathofpyrp, ...let's hope Binh has a player with the same board id as your...it will save you a lot of trouble.

By the way, is the 3.2.16_pl_lang_by_gutek firmware the one that killed your player so that you had to short circuit it. If yes, then your player definitely wasn't 3.2.16...try 3.5.35 from this site.

Here's the link: http://mympxplayer.com/dload.php?act...gory&cat_id=15

You're gonna have to keep trying with various firmwares one by one until you find one that works

Good luck with that.
