DJ LiQUiD, try repairing the firmware (the one that gives you the black lines) using the s1fwx tool from this site. Then upgrade with the repaired firmware. Maybe this will help solve the problem.
What was your original version? Maybe I can try finding you a compatible firmware. By the way, which firmware were you talking about when you said you could see but it was too bright? Did you try adjusting the brightness of the lcd? If you still have that firmware, there's a firmware modifier tool on this site that allows you to change the contrast of the screen. Maybe that will help solve your problem. Let me know if this helps 8) |
well nothing s1fwx did not work the repaired firmware is doing the same thing. Also the firmware that was to bight dosent change in the firmware modifier and I can't change it in the lcd setup. Anyways the original version is 3.5.35 and yes I tred all the firmware in this place nothing works.
Also the files are http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...ile&file_id=80 this one is the one that is to bight and http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...le&file_id=166 this is the one with the black lines. |
yay new problem well today I go up and tired this agen. Well to my suprize the the player is not connecting to the computer. I tried everything I even did this http://www.s1mp3.org/en/docs_deadrec.php
but the player still works somehow. Its opening up and playing music with that firmware I got that had a black srtip on it. But thing is that it is the computer is decting the player and its having prblems with the driver. Now I don't know why but I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them and still nothing. Also when I connected to the usb its just restarting over and over agen and windows is telling me that there was an eror and could not connect somthing somthing bla bla bla. I don't know what to do any more. |
DJ LiQUiD, seems like you have a problem similar to the problem on this forum:
http://mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?t=425 Take a look at this post if you like and see if they find a solution. Was the computer detecting your player fine before with the black striped firmware? Have you tried with a different usb cable, etc.? |
well its all over now the player is not turing on anymore I have no idea what hapend but I checked with the volt meeter and it seems good the battery is good and the curcit seems good but the player is not turing on no screen no usb connection nothing TX arish_06 for all your help if there is anythig els you can help me with it would be great anyways im going to talke with the ebay guy see if I can get a other one.

DJ LiQUiD, You need to start from scratch and short the chip to reset it.I have posted the steps I used to recover a dead player here with links to the firmware I used:
http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic...r=asc&&start=0 You need to keep repeating the process until you find the correct firmware |
Well I finaly got it back to making it work but im still having broblems with firmware im not going to repet my slef because its the same thing as the treed post so if any one know anything about that plz help
|
DJ LiQUiD, your only solution is to keep trying different firmware till you find the correct one. What did the boot and shutdown screens look like?
What games did it have? Did it have a flower theme? If you give some details finding the firmware will be easier. |

lol thats great but there is still a problem for some reson the sleep is not working im truning it on and its not sleeping and when I trun the mp3 player off the sleep gose back too 0. The off time works but not the sleep time I have no idea why. Plz try to fix it because the sceen is staying on all the time and the batteries are draning soo if you can help I would love you enven more TX.
PS: WHY IS THERE NO GAMES  but if you can't get that wtv I just want the sleep to work |
DJ LiQUiD, Re sleep mode, on some players you need to set the clock for the sleep mode to function properly. Try these settings:
LCDset>Darkle=30 LCDset>Black=30 Power off>Off time=0 This should turn your LCD off after 30 sec, you can reduce that in 5 sec amounts if you wish. If you are turning your player of at the On\Off switch it will reset your clock and settings to default every time you do this. To turn your player off hold the Play button for a few seconds. |
