my mp4 not working i dont found any firmware for my player
i have mp4 512mb and 15" screen with fm radio
firmware:3.5.37 allso their was fw:B003G6B_V1.3 this i recorde befor my mp4 stopped
i open and i get this :sam sung 625 / K9F4G08U0A /ATJ2085I

tadad1, tha,k you for replying i have connect my mp4 to pc and it appears in device manager as USB device but i don't know what to do after ... i have attemp to flash the mp4 via amv tools update and transfering new firmware (because i have not save the original) it doesn't work i have try with a lot of firmware and each time it say that there is an error please contact me at bilal1244@hotmail.fr (msn) so that i will show you the problem and show via cam ... thank you to pay attention to my problem it is cool

1. When you say you keep getting an error what error message are you getting?
2. Are you getting an error when you start the upgrade tool or when you try to install the firmware?
3. When you short the pins and install the ADFU driver does your player appear in the Device Manager as an ADFU Device?

helllo...im jai here...new to the forum relatively...
i have the 1 gb nano clone thats given in the picture above...(only difference being that i have I_POD written instead OF MP4 digital as it is in the pic above
my player was dead and i tried the dead player recovery guide.....reached to the point where the new disk was shown in the explorer...as i didnt have the back up of the original firmware...i tried the firmwares given on this site itself....with the mp3 player update toool...i did uppgrade the firmware....and may be about 5 different ones(firmware and dump)...now the problem is that the player goes on but....jusst shows a light on the screen thats it...and when i see the disk drive on the explorer...it says volume J:is not formatted....when i try formatting...it says....the disk is write protected!and when i try mp3 update tool now...it says error...please try switching the player again.....im reallly confused and frustrated....tried to install the mp3 player again....or the USB driver ...everything....even that the disk is being showed...and that a light appears on the player when i switch it on.what do i do to make it worrk????please help!!!!please................as soon as possible....

With MP3 Player Upgrade Tool

i arrived till the step when the window open saying that "it is a recovering mode , please select a
firmware"
then , i selected the firmware 3.5.37v2.1bFM (the only which make react my mp4!!)
The screen turns on (white light) when the transfer of firmware is in progress and suddenly turns off and my pc shows me message :

"Error
Read or write device information failed!
please exit the program and check if device is connecting!"

The device is connected and is recognized but when when i retry the recovery without turning off the mp4 , windows shows me that " device not detected"

With MP3 player disk tool,there is a message like : " not detected removable disk ! please check the disk connecting , or reboot the system

Can you help me i try quasi all other firmware but the only one who makes react my mp4 is 3.5.37 v2.1b FM

I followed all the steps of recovery mentioned above and i really got to an advanced stage. I got a resemble mp4 and extracted out the Firmware to upload it to my damaged one.

The problem i'm suffering now is when i open MP3 Upgrade Tool to upload the dumb.bin and a success message appears, after that the mp4 should be fully recovered, but in fact it lightened out and gone back to the damaged status that needs to make a short-circuit again.

I have a problem ... please help !

Hi, I have the same mp4 and Ihave "the firmware" that you wanted, it's :
ACI_V 3.5.35 _SC85051F
his is how it worked for me:

Upgrade 1st with the (3.5.37 Full.bin) firmware, then use the LD_CM60009.fw.

The LC_cm file is the original, the only prblem is that its on Chinese or Japanese,
so you need to change it, in settings.

I'm new in this forum and i need some help too, at first i've damaged my firmware then start to read and do the Recovery Dead Player Guide , it's success until i had my firmware updated from my Driver Disc , Now my player running and the sound is heard too but only show blue light with faint background of the menu. Please what should i do can someone help me. Is there something wrong with the display or wrong firmware. thank very much if someone would reply my message !

Try uninstalling the version of MP3 Player Utilities you are using and install another version, try 4.07 if you have not used it already. When you get it installed try loading the firmware to your player again. If the player still shows a blue screen then maybe the LCD module of your player is not compatible with the firmware.

PLEASE ,TEDAD1 i used a wrong firmware

the mp4 does not play after that

and the computer can not read the mp4

abumazen, I can not tell you anymore than is already shown in the guide. If you have any specific questions I would be happy to help. Read the guide so that you understand the process of resetting the chip so that the player will connect with your PC again.

abumazen, You are posting this message in the Dead Player Recovery Guide, go to page ONE to read the guide, it will explain how to reconnect your player.
You can not remove the bad firmware you must find the right one and reinstall it.

i have a question. i never had this problem before. but one day i accidently dropped my mpx player on the cement facing the bottom side. it left a scratch in the mirror, when i went home, tried turning it on, it goes to the hourglass and then to the open/loading screen and it just freezes and restarts to the hourglass again. you could call it sudden restart. and i dont think firmware is the problem. do i use the guide if i dropped it?

and can i get some brief info. on what happens to your mpx when it is dropped?

Try uninstalling your version of MP3 Player Utilities and then reinstall another version 4.07 then try to upload the firmware again.

And i dont realy understand.I m very sure to have a MG4 Digital 4G samsong 619. I have just download more files .fw and .bin and i have try. I dont find the version ''MP3 Player Utilities 4.07''.

E09_512M.7z MD038 MP4 with Touch Screen JJ Fugazi because i think it is a good for me and the loading dont want to end.

I have take a new Firmware .bin and that work for the loading but on my MP4 Digital 4G and i have turn off and i have waiting in 30 sec.I turn on and that write a ''LOADING''

lefrosth, The success report just means that the firmware loaded to your player ok it does not mean thet the firmware is the right one for your player. You have to try some more firmware until you find one that works with your player.

Hey guys
Can anyone tell me how long the restoring of the mian program is supposed to take. I'm trying many different full version and all of them seem to get stuck at the same spot. I havent been able to get past about 30 percent loading of the main program. Any help is appreciated.

Kdog3140, If it is hanging try uninstalling your version of MP3 Player Utilities and installing version 4.07 and see if that makes any difference.

shadymt2005, There are 100's if not 1000's of variations of firmware for the 2085 chip. It is not possible to say which ones will and will not work with your particular player. You need to keep trying any firmware you find for 1.5 LCD players.
