Can you create a seperate post instead?
In the subject, put the firmware information. This will help with the searches and if people find a compatible firmware, will post a reply to you.

Very often the USB leads supplied are faulty. I had a ipod lead and a mini USB lead supplied for 2 players both faulty. Replace with better quality ones cured player/upload problems etc.

Hi kocko

I guess the HY27UU08AG5 is a 2GB Hynix flash chip. You will need a lot more information to find the firmware. Like numbers of controller chip and display device. Also if you could post the picture of your player so that people with a similar one can see... and share their firmware with you.

hope this will help........

kocko ... just lift the battery and you would see another chip (second largest on board), this would be the micro-controller (master). Also on the side of the LCD would be some numbers written, post these two part numbers and see we could locate a suitable firmware for your device.

yes ... the largest chip is the flash memory and in your case it is a 2GB ... How much was stated on your player ??
