bilal1244, When you load the ADFU driver does the player appear in Device Manager under the heading Usb Serial Bus Controllers as a ADFU device?

pls help me i dont get my firmware player

my mp4 not working i dont found any firmware for my player
i have mp4 512mb and 15" screen with fm radio
firmware:3.5.37 allso their was fw:B003G6B_V1.3 this i recorde befor my mp4 stopped
i open and i get this :sam sung 625 / K9F4G08U0A /ATJ2085I

tadad1, tha,k you for replying i have connect my mp4 to pc and it appears in device manager as USB device but i don't know what to do after ... i have attemp to flash the mp4 via amv tools update and transfering new firmware (because i have not save the original) it doesn't work i have try with a lot of firmware and each time it say that there is an error please contact me at bilal1244@hotmail.fr (msn) so that i will show you the problem and show via cam ... thank you to pay attention to my problem it is cool

bilal1244,
1. When you say you keep getting an error what error message are you getting?
2. Are you getting an error when you start the upgrade tool or when you try to install the firmware?
3. When you short the pins and install the ADFU driver does your player appear in the Device Manager as an ADFU Device?

helllo....

helllo...im jai here...new to the forum relatively...
i have the 1 gb nano clone thats given in the picture above...(only difference being that i have I_POD written instead OF MP4 digital as it is in the pic above
my player was dead and i tried the dead player recovery guide.....reached to the point where the new disk was shown in the explorer...as i didnt have the back up of the original firmware...i tried the firmwares given on this site itself....with the mp3 player update toool...i did uppgrade the firmware....and may be about 5 different ones(firmware and dump)...now the problem is that the player goes on but....jusst shows a light on the screen thats it...and when i see the disk drive on the explorer...it says volume J:is not formatted....when i try formatting...it says....the disk is write protected!and when i try mp3 update tool now...it says error...please try switching the player again.....im reallly confused and frustrated....tried to install the mp3 player again....or the USB driver ...everything....even that the disk is being showed...and that a light appears on the player when i switch it on.what do i do to make it worrk????please help!!!!please................as soon as possible....

tadad1; thank you for paying attention to my problem;
i have progress but not too far ... unfortunately...

With MP3 Player Upgrade Tool

i arrived till the step when the window open saying that "it is a recovering mode , please select a
firmware"
then , i selected the firmware 3.5.37v2.1bFM (the only which make react my mp4!!)
The screen turns on (white light) when the transfer of firmware is in progress and suddenly turns off and my pc shows me message :

"Error
Read or write device information failed!
please exit the program and check if device is connecting!"

The device is connected and is recognized but when when i retry the recovery without turning off the mp4 , windows shows me that " device not detected"

With MP3 player disk tool,there is a message like : " not detected removable disk ! please check the disk connecting , or reboot the system

Can you help me i try quasi all other firmware but the only one who makes react my mp4 is 3.5.37 v2.1b FM

I'm just new in this forum and hope to get helped by you. i had a fake sony 1GB mp4 and tried to upgrade its software but i actually damaged it. I followed all the steps of recovery mentioned above and i really got to an advanced stage. I got a resemble mp4 and extracted out the Firmware to upload it to my damaged one.

The problem i'm suffering now is when i open MP3 Upgrade Tool to upload the dumb.bin and a success message appears, after that the mp4 should be fully recovered, but in fact it lightened out and gone back to the damaged status that needs to make a short-circuit again.
