vinod,
Good to hear you got your player working again and thankyou for letting us know.
If you get a chance please upload your firmware to the Downloads>Uploads by Members section. The more versions we have for download the better.

Cheers

delerium69, Sorry to hear about your player it sounds more like a faulty player than a firmware issue. It could be a faulty USB cord and no charge is getting to the battery or the battery itself may be the problem. I suggest you contact your seller as it may still be under warrenty.

Please create a new post for your question. We can help more from there.

I would suggest try a different USB cable, as well as a wall charger too to try to eliminate the possible problems.......

Wait to hear from you then.

I have tried the above method but I am having a total different situation here. I get this and says that this device is unknown when i attach the player through the usb.

I try to install the driver AdfuUpdate found in C:\Windows and I get this

Any other ideas of how can this be resolved ? t.y.

nevermind am throwing it away lol. thanks for the guide it looks great

EDIT: I was just about to throw out the player. I've tried to connect the pins again and the light came on . I've used one of the full firmwares here and it worked . So, if you are in the same boat as I am, try the guide again

EDITx2: btw you are a genius and we love your guide

This is an excellent guide. However, I am having trouble finding a backup dump.bin file to restore my player. I have the exact replica of the player you have in your guide. I have downloaded several firmware files, but most get an invalid firmware file message in the mp3 update tool. Please help!
