Re: DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE
[b]I 'm having that same old trouble while installing the driver. Windows wizard wont tell anything different from "The specified location doesnt have information about the device".
My player after shocking the chip is always seen as unkown usb device, never as ADFU device. I tried about 30 times, and rebooting windows didnt solve... |

Spicy Latin , you'll need to keep shorting the pins until your computer detects the player, as the procedure is a trial & error method.

Re: DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE
I cant get my 1.8" i-platinum 2gb mp3 player open...

dfales13 , for the gen2 clones, you'll need to pry up the white cover at the top (where the on/off switch is). Hidden below it is a screw, unscrewing it would allow you to slide or lift the casing off. You might need to push the buttons in at the same time, as some other users reported that it blocks the casing from sliding.

ME2 mp4 player
Hello !
I've recently acquired a "me2" ipod clone which worked well for apporximately two days. Last night, I let it recharge its battery on the computer and when turning it on this morning, it said "error disk" at most of the functions of the menu. It's 2Gb and I already checked if that was true (it is) and it was only half filled... My computer can't open it anymore. It detects it but suggests to format it. So I can't use it, but I'm not sure it's "dead" enough to open it (anywas, it has no screws, so I've got no idea how to open it)... a low format with mp3 player utilities would erase the firmware ? should I try to upgrade it ? It's a 9.0.50 apparently. So... what should I do ? |
Re: DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE
Hi Tadad1, Hope you can help me.
I have a 2Gb mp4 player 2nd generation (Like Ipod 2nd generation) 1.8" With FM. Player now is dead. When I turn it on I only get a white screen, and if i Connect it to the USB port, the PC take it like an "Unknown USB Device". I had opened it, and shorted on the memory chip, but nothing. Again PC recognize it as an "USB Device" nothing like an ADFU device. So I can no run any Firmware update application (none of them takes my MP4 player) There is something I can do with it? Kindly, Facu |
