jony_valencia , as mentioned previously, You will need to keep trying until you get the player to reboot, and the computer to detect and install it as ADFU.

The dead player recovery process is entirely upto the individual. If you don't want to continue shorting the pins, there is nothing we can do about it.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

This is a nice and detailed tutorial but a very important step missed.

In order to update the firmware "the player should be recognized by the computer" first. I mean your computer should allocate a drive letter to the player and you should see it under My Computer as a USB disk. Because it is not written clearly, I end up trying all the firmware versions for many hours, but it always stucked during flashing process with MP3 Player Utilities - Upgrade tool. It was just saying "downloading restorable main program". I realized that when I first saw the Update the firmware for your MP3/MP4 player tutorial written by admin.

Just a note...

SnowWhite , do you remember your previous working firmware version? If not, you'll need to open your player and identify the processor's serial number (eg ATJ2085, ATJ2097, etc). This way it'll be easier to know which group of firmwares to try.
