Hi, my MP4 player is finally showing a blue screen that says "USB Disk" and device manager shows it as "ANYKAUSB Nand Opn Zone USB Device". I'm trying to install the ADFU driver so i can install the firmware but WinXP won't let me. So I'm pretty much stuck. Can anyone help me resolve this so I can get my player up and running again? MP3 Tool can't find it. Thanks

cunfusled73, you should check this thread: http://mympxplayer.org/mp4-players-a...d--vt6847.html

Ankya players are a totally different breed from Actions ones, therefore they can't be recovered using this guide.

TUANAS, except of trying every 9.1.x firmware here, there's not much to try.

TUANAS , what you'll need to do is to try all the v9.xx firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9...ware-dc37.html

As there is no way to tell which firmware would work with your player, you'll need to try all those for your screen size until you get a working one. Good luck.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

After a good week of struggling, I found on a Polish website the RIGHT firmware to recover my ATJ 2091N -based Monochrome 2GB MP3 Player with FM radio. This firmware is NOT YET present in your Downloads, so you can add it if you find this useful (I don't know how to do it by myself)!

This is this one:

If you find a way to modify the HORRIBLE boot splash screen, please let me know Wink

Please help: I can get my player to appear as an ADFU device, but I'm a little confused on how to get the firmware I downloaded actually onto it. Any advice as to how I flash this ADFU device and get it to start registering as a normal USB drive would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Biostem,

copy the AkResData.bin & Magic.bin and right click and paste on which ever drive letter is assigned to your device. After its done copying the files, safely remove from usb and restart your player. It should now load your player. Hope this works for you. ( I just got done fixing mine)

The problem is, while it *does* show up as an ADFU device in my device manager, there is NO drive letter associated w/ it. Thanks.

if you click on "My Computer" there should be a drive letter "F:" and "G:". You want to copy the files to "F:".

The mp3/4 player does *not* show up in 'my computer' at all, yet it *does* show up in the device manager as an ADFU device. Thanks.
