Hi All,

I am hoping you can help me out... I have the ipod nano clone player player that looks the same as this, and the case saya orient on the back:

Click the image to open in full size.

The player is showing the blue screen, and won't do anything. The BIOS it shows is: 3221-MLC-SPI-SPEED-9320-H v8.4.

I know NOTHING about all these things but would really really like to get my player working again... from all i've read on the forum here it seems i have to reinstall some firmware (which I don't know how to do!). I have two problems. 1) The only numbers on the plate that I can find are TX2418B V0.3, and my 'chips' don't look like anyone elses (although I found two numbers on small black 'chips'?: TEA5767 VDK290 05 SPG/092Y and 25X20 VNIG 0710)
2) The second problem is that my computer will not recognize the player when I plug it into a USB.

I have tried to follow the advice in this dead player recovery guide, but the 'chips' on my player look different than in the photos in the guide... I have tried to create contacts, but never got any kind of connection.

Any help you could provide (if possible, step-by-step, for a dummy like me!) would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Ange
